Evita Turquoise Robinson is a two time Emmy Award-winning storyteller, writer, and cultural entrepreneur dedicated to transforming destination storytelling. She founded the NOMADNESS Travel Tribe in 2011, a pioneering community for travelers of color with over 38,000 members worldwide. In 2018, she launched NOMADNESS Fest, an immersive annual event celebrating BIPOC travelers and industry professionals.

Evita’s passion for storytelling has led to partnerships with top global brands and destinations, showcasing underrepresented voices through innovative campaigns. She co-executive produced The NOMADNESS Project web series with Issa Rae in 2013. Recognized as one of National Geographic’s ‘21 Most Visionary Women Throughout Travel History’ and Entrepreneur Magazine’s 50 Most Daring Entrepreneurs, Evita has redefined how destinations engage with marginalized communities.

A TED Resident, published scholar, and invitee to the Obama Administration’s SXSL White House event, Evita uses her platform to tell stories that inspire connection and cultural understanding.

Now focused on producing, media hosting, screen and memoir writing, Evita leverages her fifteen years of international travel and cultural storytelling to amplify marginalized voices in both the scripted and unscripted media spaces.
