Katarina Hoyt

Katarina Hoyt serves as the president and CEO of the Darien McIntosh County Chamber of Commerce, and her work has ignited growth in the community for two years. Previously, she served as the Cash Management Officer at The Heritage Bank, specializing in small business support and customer service. 

Kat’s roots in Georgia run deep, having grown up on National Wildlife Refuges, where her father served as a law enforcement officer and refuge manager. At the same time, her mother dedicated herself to homemaking. This upbringing fostered her profound reverence for nature and community. She lived in various states during her childhood and proudly graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage. 

Kat's passion lies in the distinctive history and culture of coastal Georgia, which she enthusiastically promotes through her professional endeavors and personal pursuits. Katrina finds joy in curating local experiences for visitors, ensuring their stays are both memorable and enriching. 

Work/life balance is important in Kat's life, and she cherishes spending time with her husband, Will Hoyt, an entrepreneur with multiple business ventures, their 13-year-old daughter, Ari, and their two fur babies.
