Mamie McAbee

Mamie McAbee is the Manager of Augusta & Co., Augusta’s Innovative Experience Center. Working as manager of Augusta & Co. for the last two years, Mamie has 13 years of experience with Destination Augusta, previously working in Group Sales. In her role, Mamie shares information about attractions with visitors and locals, curates local merchandise, and manages a local art gallery and tasting bar. Additionally, Mamie programs pop-up events and markets that showcase local retail partners and trains local “experts” to share Augusta information. She is a member of the Destination Development Team at Destination Augusta and collaborates with other local organizations on projects and events. 

Mamie has a passion for tourism. This year, she completed her certification as a Professional Development Manager through Destinations International, and she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
