Regan Young

Regan Young is Marketing Director for the Georgia Department of Economic Development. She leads a team focused on marketing Explore Georgia, Georgia Council for the Arts, and Georgia Film Office. Regan began her tenure with the state of Georgia at the Jekyll Island Authority (JIA), focused on advertising and brand building.

Prior to joining the JIA, Regan’s career was concentrated at prominent advertising agencies - IPG’s Initiative, WPP’s Mindshare, and southeast darling, 22squared. Her experience reflects a diverse mix of brands, including The Home Depot, Orkin, Regions Financial Corporation, Serta, and the United States Marine Corps, for which she earned two Effie Awards. Regan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Advertising from the University of Georgia. When not cheering on the Dawgs, Regan enjoys discovering new trails across Georgia to hike or bike.
