Cayla Cardwell

Cayla Cardwell is the Communications Manager for Explore Georgia, the tourism division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development and the state’s official destination marketing organization. A Georgia native, she manages strategic public relations, media relations, and communications efforts to increase the state’s visibility as a top travel destination. Cayla is an active member of the U.S. Travel Association’s Communications Advisory Committee and the Public Relations Society of America. She earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Kennesaw State University. In her free time, you can find Cayla hiking, crafting, and spending time with her husband, Daniel, and Goldendoodle, Daisy.
