Georgia’s Visitor Information Centers (VICs) are the first point of contact for travelers when they enter Georgia. Our nine centers provide a variety of ways - both free and paid - to connect with millions of visitors. Raise your visibility among the traveling public and extend the reach of your marketing dollars by taking advantage of these special opportunities.


Brochure Distribution - FREE

Georgia tourism destinations, attractions, and tourism-related businesses are invited to display brochures in our nine Georgia Visitor Information Centers, at no cost. Please note, your brochure will need to be reviewed and approved. Please submit a copy of your brochure to:

Explorer Days - FREE

Each summer, Explore Georgia thanks our visitors during an annual appreciation day held at the nine VICs called Explorer Days. You can take advantage of Georgia’s premier customer appreciation day by featuring your destination’s travel deals, discounts and special offers through a dedicated landing page on ExploreGeorgia.org. This landing page is promoted to in-center visitors through signage and collateral. For travelers who aren’t able to visit during the official event, Explorer Days content is promoted through Explore Georgia’s email and social channels. It’s easy and free to load special offers and our friendly visitor center staff will help direct visitors to the Explorer Days page to learn more about your destination.

Digital Advertising - NEW & IMPROVED

New, upgraded digital screens are coming to all nine VICs, offering you a custom opportunity to use your branded video within the interior of our highly-trafficked Georgia Visitor Information Centers.

How it works:

  • Partners will have the option to run either a 30-second video (no sound) or a slideshow of still photography on these new interior monitors
  • Each center will limit participation to six (6) advertisers per center to ensure visibility for your brand.

 Frequency:

  • 12-month commitment

Pop-Up Banners

Showcase your destination or product with a strategically placed, free-standing pop-up banner placed in one of our nine VICs. Your destination will have optimum exposure for the thousands of guests visiting the centers.

How it works:Pop Up Display

  • You may provide an approved pop-up to the center of your choice (up to 2.5 ft wide and up to 6 ft tall) OR you can provide the artwork and our creative team will help create a custom banner for your destination, for a fee
  • Depending on the layout of the individual center, pop-up banners can be located within the 24-hour space or the interior of the center
  • Limited to 1-2 partner banners per VIC, depending on the center’s layout

  • 6-month and 12-month commitment

Window Clings

If the Georgia VICs are the state’s front door, then the centers’ windows are like a display in New York City during the holiday season! Reserve this prime real estate at the entrances to our buildings to promote your destination. All centers have exterior facing window availability for maximum exposure and some centers offer additional interior window space.

How it works:

  • Provide us with your ready to go artwork or share your preferred images and logo and we can provide you with creative services for an additional fee
  • We handle the production, delivery and installation of your branded window cling
  • Limited to 1-2 partners, depending on real estate in the center

In-Center Activation Days 

Put your brand in front of thousands of travelers at any one of the nine VICs. In 2024, reserve space at our Visitor Information Center to promote your tourism business to visitors for the day. Your organization will get incredible exposure and your staff will have individual engagement with our guests.

How it works:

  • You will have a dedicated space at the center and you will supply your table, chairs, decorations, giveaways, as well as up to two staff to work the table. Exact space dimensions will vary depending on individual VIC real estate.
  • You’ll have up to six hours to engage with the visitors of the center with a max of two staff to work your table in your designated area
  • Your set up and giveaways must be approved by Explore Georgia prior to your takeover day
  • Once you sign a contract, you’ll work with the visitor center manager to schedule your desired activation date

Frequency:

  • Only 2 slots per month per center (1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, avoiding major holidays)

In-Center Chart Pricing


After Hours / 24-Hour Display Rack 

While the VIC staff offers travelers the best in Southern hospitality, we know not all visitors travel during business hours. With this opportunity, put your brochures in front of visitors, when the center front desk is closed, but the restrooms remain open, in our after hours display rack.

How it works:

  • You provide the desired centers with rack card collateral
  • Visitor center staff will pull the after hours display into the 24-hour space at closing (if not already located in the 24-hour space)

Frequency:

  • 6-month and 12-month commitment

After Hour Display Chart

Co-Branded Bags

Partner with Explore Georgia on exclusive co-branded bags to be distributed at the VICs.  Visitors use these bags to collect collateral from different destinations and look forward to receiving the bags from the visitor counter. We’ll feature your logo on the front of bags with the Explore Georgia brand. The bags will be given out at all nine centers for a 6 month distribution period.

How it works:

  • You provide your logo
  • We work with our vendor to print and distribute a total of 12,000 bags to the centers

Frequency:

  • 1 partner per 6 months

Pricing: 

  • $5,000
